Vigloo

Jack lives quietly in a small village with his mother and his old teacher. One day monsters attack, and his mother is killed. Her last words to him are: "Find your father." With nothing else to go on, Jack sets out for Veilspire, the greatest school of magic in the land. But the entrance exam calls him a "Magic Zero." Everyone laughs — and then a power no one has ever seen awakens inside him.
